This winemaker was born and raised
in the Robertson/Worcester wine area along the Breë River Valley
and has since been concerned with the vine and its products.
Education and Experience
Academic training and research was
done at Pretoria Technicon, University of Stellenbosch and Nietvoorbij
Wine and Viticultural Institute. He also did a season at Breizach
ZBW Cellar in Germany and extensive travelling in the Napa Valley
vineyards, California. Fanie is married to Jean and they have three
children: Lindsy, Morné and Stefanus.
